My mother’s favorite color is yellow, always has been, and my mother, for me, always represented eternal sunshine and a spotless moral compass. No matter how difficult her circumstances became in life, and her life was immensely trying at times, she always carried happiness in her pocket. Always a smile and never a tear.
Hence, I love the color yellow as well, it is one of my favorite shades for the same reason, it represents the eternal child of springtime. The representation of joy and purity. From champagne to butter, ecru to canary, amber to saffron, primrose to citron, there are many variations of the color yellow. Each encapsulates innocence and joie de vivre so perfectly.
“Just living is not enough… one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.”
