Leopard is one of those things… I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. When done well it can take the breath away. Adversely when done poorly, it can look like a catastrophic trainwreck. Particulary when you add brights to the mix.
Now, a splash of brights with leopard, giraffe, cheetah, zebra, can be wondrous. It can be unbelievably refined particularly because of the rarity of such a combination. And rarity is becoming.
Go for really posh looking animal patterns and make certain the fabrics are top notch. Don’t go acrylic or polyster. Please don’t. Stick with silk, suede, chiffon. etc. Also, keep the fabrics flowing and drape-y. Don’t go for a tight fit, stay loose, unless it is done with a light touch. Think Grecian goddess. Think seductive, but irreverant. Think sensual, but ladylike. Think of a lady lunching on Madison Ave or on Rodeo Drive.
