Accessible Design

DWR markets the “best” in authentic modern design.  It’s actually a neat concept, what they do, really.  The business began when the founder Rob Forbes was furnishing his apartment with “clean classics” that he had access to while living in London.  He discovered that pieces from the likes of Eames, Saarinen, and Bertoia were remarkably difficult to obtain unless you had inside connections or wanted to wait months for delivery.

Forbes had the foresight to know that there must be a better way to do business. He immediately purchased 20 containers of product, put together a catalogue, and waited for the phone to ring. And ring it did.  The rest is history.

Eventually everything connects – people, ideas, objects. The quality of the connections is the key to quality per se.
