Fuchsia lipstick is like red’s cooler, younger sister. It’s plucky and daring, yet easier to wear than hot pink. This look is great for brightening up any skin tone, in fact it will brighten up the entire face. I love it with a full face of makeup as well as with an understated look. It’s exceptional because it creates instant youth, vibrancy and a certain cool factor.

There are specific hues which are universally flattering and others that let’s say take a bit of true spunk to pull off. Nars’ Funny Face is one for all because it is doesn’t have a lot of blue in it which may not work on those with yellow undertones. But this one will work on both those with the palest skin to the darkest tones. MAC’s Show Orchid is another versatile tone. YSL’s #49 is my personal fave and not for the faint of heart. It is a real showstopper.
