Autumn is a time for seasonal foliage in all the warmer hues, for hot toddies and Thanksgiving turkeys, a season for the last harvest, a period of melancholia expressed by many poets of the world on the written page. As the arrival of the night becomes noticeably earlier, and the temperature cools considerably, the leaves from the deciduous trees will drop away. So when out and about crushing leaves underfoot, how better to stylishly graze the sidewalks than with a pair of forever ankle boots?
