The holidays are a time for many wonderful things….. family, gift giving, being thankful for the blessings in your life, ornaments on the tree, cozying up in soft sweaters, skiing, the list goes on.  It’s also a time when you can go super glam in your outfits and you have sufficient reason and excuse to sparkle, not that I think you ever need an excuse (I’ve been known to wear sequins to the grocery store).

Try dusting some body shimmer on your collarbone, legs, or arms or add some highlighter to your cheek and brow bones.  Add some glitz with diamond jewelry on your wrists, on your ears, in your hair (in the form of chignon fasteners).  Wear some sequins on your dress, as a cape, on your shoes.  Dust on some sparkly shadow or lipstick.  Throw on some feathers, lace, brocade.  This is not the time to go plain!  Have fun, be girly, and be festive!  This is your time to shine! I don’t care how old/young you are!

Beauty and femininity are ageless and can’t be contrived, and glamour, although the manufacturers won’t like this, cannot be manufactured. Not real glamour; it’s based on femininity.
