As a skin fanatic and product junkie, I have tried and tested many a facial cleanser. As with most things, quite a few of them are a waste of money. I would rather just use body soap. But there are a few which are worth the investment.
Queue the drumroll. My all time top facial cleaner is Dermalogica’s Daily Microfoliant. It is a rice-based enzyme powder which you mix with water and then scrub your visage with. It contains no articial fragrances, colors, or ingredients. It is just a powder which turns into a paste. It is a very fine powder, so it really gets into your pores and smooths out and empties your skin of impurities. I don’t think you need anything else to clean your skin. Your face will feel like a slippery baby seal after using the stuff. It entirely removes everything off your face – pollutants, cosmetics, creams, what have you. It is all I use to cleanse and it is the real deal. And I love the natural smell, it reminds me of my childhood.
